Destiny walked down the aisles of a shop in the mall. She had been shopping for quite awhile now and she was getting bored. Nothing was here. She ran a manicured fingernail over a beautiful pair of glittery high heels. Gosh, what a rip-off. $500 for those shoes. So stupid. Destiny removed her finger from the shoes and moved on. A dull pair of trainers were $30. How expensive was this shop? She quickly got out and moved into another. The prices were low for shoes. A beautiful pair of hand-crafted shoes were half price. $100! What a bargain for shoes like that! Destiny was filthy rich, so she bought it. She put them on right away. She headed out of the shop and moved her way down the escalator. This mall was turning out to be fun. She moved on to another shop. She picked out a ton of clothes and tried them all on. She spent $1000 on clothes, then called it a morning. She headed to the cafe for lunch.

Steph ran her fingers across the clothes racks in the store. Nothing stood out to her at the moment, it was all the 'I'm-an-unoriginal-slut' type, you know - the orange, duckface-poser kind of people. Definitely not Stephani's type. She picked out burlesque-style corset from the lingerie and smirked. Not something she'd wear in town, of course... but it was something for the bedroom.
Ignoring the strange glances she was getting, she headed to pay for it. $100. Well. At least she had a few thousand to be going with for now. She'd need a job pretty soon though. Picking the bag off the counter, she swaggered out through the door with the same smirk on her face.

As Destiny walked past a clothes store, a girl came out, and bumped into Destiny. Destiny turned towards her and put a fierce expression on her face. "Watch where you're going!" she snapped, and flung her handbag over her shoulder and continued walking. She reached the escalator and stepped onto it. She didn't like those 'I-am-so-clumsy-I-will-bump-into-you' types of people. Destiny reached the bottom and stepped off it. Her high heels clicked against the polished floor as she walked. The others in the crowd blended in with Destiny. Half the people in this town wore extremely high heels and had the same expression on their face: the 'I'm-so-beautiful-and-rich-and-snobby-look-at-me' expression.

Steph looked at the girl and raised an eyebrow. The snobby bitch walked off. 'What is wrong with her?' Stephani thought to herself, shaking her head. She walked through the mall towards an escalator and immediately saw the girl again. "Kill me now," she muttered as she was stuck behind her in the line. Practically everyone looked the same - high heels, expensive clothes. Steph was just wearing her favourite band's t-shirt and jeans, with black converse. She decided to visit the mini Starbucks on the ground floor. She sat at an empty table and ordered a small coffee, just wanting to spend some time out in town before she started applying for jobs. Then she saw the woman again. Walking towards her. ((hopefully you don't mind >< sorry if you didn't want this but it's conversation starter 'kay? ))

Where was the cafe? Destiny looked around, walking every so often. Eventually she absent-mindedly reached that girl again. She stopped before she bumped into her. She glared. Was this girl a stalker? If not, she was probably some fan of Destiny's. "Excuse me," she said, "do you know where the cafe is?" She didn't ask it in a friendly tone, she spoke in a snappy tone, as if to really say 'Tell me where the cafe is or I'll strangle you into doing it.' Destiny was not a nice girl. Now, that was the understatement of the century. Destiny didn't have time for fun and games in her dreadfully busy but wealthy life. She had no time to make friends or dilly-dally chatting to people who crashed into her. She only did that in emergencies. And this was an emergency. She needed to find the cafe and have lunch fast if she wanted to catch the bus back home.

Stephani looked up at the girl and looked at her mockingly. "I have no clue," she said sarcastically, making very obvious hand movements towards the Starbucks sign above her head. God, some people were so oblivious. The waitress came back with her coffee and she took a sip, looking into the woman's eyes as if to say, 'go on. Retort.' She didn't want the woman to be standing near her much longer, it was intimidating in a way. Though Steph'd never admit that. She pulled a few dollar notes out of her pocket and lay them on the table.

Starbucks. Destiny guessed she had been so busy finding a cafe that she hadn't looked up. Destiny frowned at the girl's sarcastic tone, and walked towards the counter and ordered a coffee. She sat back down, not knowing the table was right next to the girl's. She got out her mobile phone and checked her text messages. One from a friend saying she had tickets to a concert. Destiny rolled her eyes. Didn't her friends realize that she was a singer too? She was meant to be throwing concerts. Destiny got onto Youtube on her phone and began browsing through her very own songs. Her voice sounded great edited, in her opinion. And un-edited. Then the waitress arrived with Destiny's coffee with two sugar cubes on the side and a spoon. Destiny dropped in a sugar cube, stirred then sipped the coffee. It tasted surprisingly good. She began to sip some more.

Stephani looked over her shoulder and rolled her eyes at the self-obsessed woman behind her. She didn't even know her name, but she was pretty sure it'd be something posh and 'unique' (meaning, dumb and ridiculous). But she looked oddly familiar... Steph stood up and looked around for her handbag. Where was it? Then she saw it. Under the woman's chair. Shiiiitt, she thought to herself, grimacing. How the hell was she supposed to get it now? And how had it got there in the first place? She tried casually moving her foot under the woman's chair, but it was too far back. She sat back down and pretended to stretch her leg. Still couldn't get it. So she just stood up and straight out said, "My bag's under your chair, would you be as kind as to move out of the way for a second?"

Destiny looked up as the girl spoke. Again. Why was this happening? Bumping into each other, losing their handbags under their chairs... Destiny just sighed and picked herself up from her seat. "There." She handed the girl her handbag, then sat back down on the seat, taking another sip of coffee. She didn't care about the girl and her handbag. She had a bus to catch. "Now, would you be so kind as to leave me alone?" Destiny asked, as sweetly as possible. She grimaced as she looked away. She hated talking 'kindly' to people. Especially if she meant it.
(not sure if this is 100 words, but there wasn't anything left to write soo.)

Humming under his breath, Aisley wandered about the mall. Having nothing better to do after perfecting his latest dance, the blonde had decided to come with the small amount of free money he had and look around, even though he knew he would end up leaving empty handed. Aisley was by no means poor, but he was running a bit low on money and preferred spending his money on food and rent than unneeded things. Spotting the cafe, he headed that way, taking note of the two women shooting daggers at each other. Carefully skirting around them, he bought himself a coffee and took a seat, carefully sipping the scalding drink.

t o i l a n d t r o u b l e - - - Juniper was in a good mood, after meeting someone new. Someone new and intriguing and someone who, most importantly, hadn't recognized her at first glance. She walked from the café where they'd met, and into the mall. All shining marble, glass, and steel, the building wouldn't have looked out of place in a modern architecture magazine. Nice an flashy, surely, and not at all June's personal style, but definitely great for a shopping mall.
She had an party to attend later that evening, some social gathering with the crew of her last film, to celebrate something or other. She really wasn't sure, but there was champagne promised, and it was an excuse to go out and shop, so she was feeling pretty content.
That is, up until the point that a girl around 14 or 15 approached her, clearly only barely containing her excitement. "Could I have your autograph?" she squealed, and June only barely resisted rolling her eyes as she signed the bit of paper. The girl ran back to her friends, clearly excited, and Juniper continued on her war-path until she became distracted. Starbucks. Even though she'd just left a café, she could do with some horribly fattening pastry right about now.
She walked in, paid for a chocolate croissant, and was recognized as "that actress from that film," which pissed her off more than it should. Annoyed to no end, she took a seat at an empty table, rolling her eyes at a pair of women who were squabbling over something or other, and praying to whatever deity she didn't believe in that happened to be listening at the time that nobody else would recognize her. - - - s o m e t h i n g w i c k e d t h i s w a y c o m e s - - -

Looking up from the dark liquid upon seeing somebody sit down in his peripheral vision, Aisley turned his head slightly to see who it was. A woman a few years his senior, who looked quite familiar. It clicked after a few moments af scrutinizing the woman. She was Juniper Greenwood, a popular actress. Having someone famous in town wasn't that uncommon, so the teenager shrugged it off and looked back down at his steaming coffee. It was currently what was keeping him awake. He'd been working the late shift at the strip joint in town. It was a degrading job that he hated and technically legally couldn't be doing. But the club needed male dancers, Aisley needed money, and the club manager had accepted the lie that added a year to the blonde's life. Gulping down another mouthful of the scalding, bitter liquid, the dancer winced as he burned his tongue. Swiping a hand over an eye exahustedly, he looked at the actress seated a few tables away again and wondered why she was here of all places. Sure, this town had nice apartments and a good mall, but it was still a secluded town in America, and he distinctly remembered her being English. Not wanting to be caught string, the teen turned his bright blue gaze away quickly.
