Vincent was lying on the bed in his apartment, not really motivated to do, well, anything at all. Today was going to be one of those days, he figured, which didn't do much to improve his mood other than adding a weary sort of acceptance. UGH. However, because of his rather impressive willpower, he sat up anyway, which was a pretty big step, okay? Even if he didn't do anything productive today, the least he could do was go for a jog or something, even if he came right back to his apartment afterwards and did nothing for the rest of the day.
He took a quick shower and dressed. Loose navy sweatpants and a tight white v-neck, which even in his own opinion looked quite good on him. He wasn't particularly well-muscled, but still pretty well-built; thin, mildly muscular, and tall. Enough to get plenty of girls to swoon over him, anyway.
Grabbing his iPod from the dock, and finding his 'Jogging' playlist, he grinned as Queen blasted through his ears. He set out, down a few blocks and then into the park, which was a much nicer place to jog than the city, but also made it so that he had to watch out for pedestrians and the like. -- word count: 211

Jayden lounges on a bench in the park, tapping his left foot to the music that was blasting through his headphones. He quite likes the park, especially because if he has his headphones in, no one attempts to engage him in conversation, and he honestly doesn't like people very much. As he sits and watches people pass by, he notices a guy in navy sweats and a tight white tee jog by. He follows his bum with his eyes. It's quite nice.

Vincent, panting, leaned forward, placing his hands on his knees and trying to bring his heart rate back to normal. He needed to do this more often, because damn he was out of shape. Of course, his 'in shape' standards were higher than most men, but that's not the point. He straightened up and ran a hand through his hair, which had dried from his shower but was now damp with, ew, sweat. Of course, in weather like this, it's hard not to be sweating, especially not when you're jogging.
Deciding in a split second, he pulled his shirt over his head and off, reveling in the slight breeze that decided just then to make an appearance. He turned around and saw a man - a good-looking man, mind you - looking at him. He looked away quickly, pretending to change the song on his iPod.

Jayden nearly dropped his mobile when the man bent over, and he nearly toppled off of the bench and into the grass when the man removed his shirt. Good Lord almighty. When he turned around, he saw that the man was extremely good looking, with a thin face, a slightly pointed jaw, and dark eyes. Jayden stared longer than was deemed appropriate, and the man turned around hastily. He swore. He probably frightened the man.

Whatever way he may have cooled down from the breeze or from removing his shirt had been canceled out by the barely-but-still interaction. Vincent could feel himself blushing, which he never did. Ever. He distracted himself with locating a rather loud Crystal Castles song, biting his lip and tapping his foot to the song. If that's what you could call it, because song implied something melodic, which it definitely wasn't. Oh well.
He'd only recently accepted the fact that maybe he could possibly be a little bit attracted to guys ish. Maybe. He was still testing out the waters, so to speak. PS: he totes has blue eyes, idek what you're talking about.

Jayden continued to watch the man, noticing that he also had quite the nice bum. He smirked to himself. The man was probably in his early twenties, and he looked like someone that Jayden could get along with, if he really wanted to try. Was he really trying to make friends two days in a row? If so, he must be going nutters. Absolutely stark raving nutters.

Vincent looked up from his iPod and glanced at the man on the bench, who was still watching him. A trio of teenage girls walked past him giggling furiously, but he ignored them.
Wait... since when did Vince ignore good-looking girls to look at some guy? Since now, apparently. Oh well. His gaze returned to his iPod for only a moment before flicking back to the man, who was definitely staring at him. He bit his lip and smiled, a little unsure.
Since when did Vince smile anyway? The universe was being turned inside-out and upside-down. The only time Vincent smiled was when he was trying to pick up girls... Oh.

The man smiles and Jayden's stomach flips a little. He lifts his hand and waves. He's not sure of how this will go. The man could either run like hell, or come over to meet him. He seems slightly timid, like he doesn't know what he's doing, and Jayden isn't used to encountering men like that.
that sounded weird

it sounded weird cos you wrote it in present tense bimbo Making a split-second decision, Vincent walked over. Suddenly very aware of the fact that, oh God ew, he was wearing a t-shirt, sweats, and an old pair of sneakers, and he was sweaty from running, he felt himself flush lightly. In comparison to the other man, who looked quite composed and put-together, he felt like a hobo. Oh well, at least he's got his shirt off, which had seemed to impress the blonde enough.
"Hello," He said, knowing that his accent sounded much more affected than it usually did, as it always did when he was nervous. He bit his lip, and fiddled with one of his earphones.

WOOPS
Jayden's hands began to sweat as the man came closer. He finally stopped in front of the bench. His shirt was still off. "Hello," he said, and Jayden nearly twitched. He had a Russian accent. The only thing going through Jayden's mind was 'dajshelkjyjkhfarsuy'. He realized that the man was staring at him, waiting for him to respond, and he cleared his throat and held out a hand. "Hi."

Vincent grinned, noting the effect he seemed to be having on the other man. He took his hand and shook it, noting that he had a pretty strong grip. You can tell a lot about a person by the way they shake hands... he thought he'd read that somewhere.
"Hi," he repeated. "I'm Vincent," he introduced himself, running a hand through his hair. A nervous tick, but nobody was close enough to him to know that, and most shrugged it off as a casual gesture. Oh, mother of God, who was he kidding? This guy was obviously hot.

Jayden watched Vincent's muscles ripple in his arm as he carded his long fingers through his hair. He had a very nice smile and a slight dimple in his cheek. His accent was to die for. "I'm Jayden," he said. "Do you want to sit down?" He scooted over slightly on the bench to make room for the gorgeous Russian man who had decided to take time out of his jog to talk to him.

Smiling, (legitimately smiling, mind you, which doesn't happen all too often) Vincent nodded. "Thanks," he said, sitting down, practically lounging, visibly relaxed, but still keeping near-perfect posture.
"Jayden," Vince mused, "That's a nice name," he decided. His fingers twisting the fabric of his t-shirt awkwardly. He arched his neck back, squinting a bit against the glaring sun and biting his lip.
What did this.. Jayden, want? Well, from the looks he'd been getting, he had a pretty good idea. Vincent was perfectly content to casually do little things that seemed perfectly innocent, knowing they'd probably get a reaction out of the other man.

Jayden quirked the side of his mouth. "Vincent is as well. You don't meet many people named Vincent anymore. I've always liked that name." Oh, lord, he's rambling. He scratched the bridge of his nose with his finger. "Do you come here often?" He really could have kicked himself. "I've never seen you around before."

Vincent shook his head and smiled a little wistfully. "No, not really. I really aught to get out more often, actually," he muses, shrugging. It was true enough, the only 'out' he ever got was getting from point A to point B, with very little spontaneous wanderings and such.
"What about you, then? Don't reckon I've seen you before either," he asked, only barely able to refrain from adding something along the lines of I'd remember a face like yours, which worked wonders on women, but he wasn't sure about men. A whole new territory, so to speak. Well, that'll take some getting used to.
